The radio broadcasting company headed by Jeff Warshaw that instantly mushroomed in size by acquiring Alpha Media has named a Regional Manager of National Sales for the West Coast, overseeing activities across five markets under the leadership of Tina Murley.
Taking the role is Deidra Lieberman.
She’ll direct Connoisseur’s national sales efforts in Portland, Oregon; San Francisco; San Jose; Palm Springs; and Anchorage, reporting directly to Murley, Senior Vice President/Western Region and Market Manager for San Francisco and San Jose.
A native of New York’s Long Island, Lieberman was associated for several years with ABC Radio’s former San Francisco stations, serving as General Sales Manager and, later, Director of Sales for KGO-AM, KSFO0AM, KMKY “Radio Disney” and the Oakland Raiders Radio Networks. She has also served as an Account Executive for stations in Santa Rosa, Calif.; for former Adult Alternative KFOG in San Francisco; and in various positions of sales leadership for Susquehanna Radio during its ownership of KFOG, KNBR, KTCT and KSAN-FM in San Francisco.
“Her deep roots in the San Francisco Bay Area and extensive national sales background make her uniquely positioned to accelerate momentum across Connoisseur Media’s West Coast footprint,” Connoisseur said.
Lieberman commented, “I’m honored to join Connoisseur Media as Regional Manager of National Sales for the West Coast. Connoisseur’s ability to drive national revenue through great local radio is unmatched, and I am thrilled to work alongside Jeff Warshaw, Tina Murley, our Market Managers, Katz Media and all our valued clients across the country. We’re building something big, and I’m proud to help drive results at scale through local execution.”
Murley added that Lieberman “brings intensity, strategic vision, and an aggressive sales mindset that aligns perfectly with where Connoisseur is headed as a company. She knows how to compete, how to lead, and how to win. I’m thrilled to have her on my leadership team and excited for the impact she will make across the West Coast.”
