It’s a New Hampshire town technically within the sprawling Boston DMA that serves as the county seat of Belknap County. Here, an FM translator is trading hands.
Pending FCC approval, it will end up in the hands of Dirk Nadon‘s Lakes Media.
W241AJ at 96.1 MHz is being sold to Lakes Media by New Hampshire Gospel Radio, headed by John Donovan.
A $7,500 purchase price was agreed to by the parties.
There is no broker associated with this deal, which sees John Wells King Esq. serve as the legal counsel for the buyer and Kathleen Victory of Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth serve as the seller’s legal representative.
New Hampshire Gospel Radio is the licensee of WANH-FM in Meredith, WJNH-FM in Conway and WVNH-FM in Concord, N.H. It also has three other FM translators.
Lakes Media will add W241AJ to a stable comprised of three New Hampshire FMs: WLKZ in Wolfeboro, WWLK in Meredith and WCGY in Jefferson. The company has agreed to purchase WASR-AM & W246DI in Wolfeboro, N.H.
