A Class D AM with a regional Mexican format serving Loveland and nearby Fort Collins, Colo., along with its corresponding FM translator, will soon be under a new ownership structure, paperwork filed for approval at the FCC shows.
KXJJ-AM 1570 in Loveland, Colo., along with Fort Collins-focused K267CD, are being transferred from Spanish Media Consulting Corp. head Kristy Roberts to William Neidig.
It indicates a transfer of shares from Roberts to Neidig, with Frank Montero of Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth handling the FCC paperwork.
To make the deal happen, Roberts paid $8,000 at the signing of the agreement to purchase the properties. An additional $8,000 will be paid in monthly installments, with the first one paid on November 1, 2025.
Neidig also assumes responsibility for 2025 taxes associated with “La Jota Mexicana,” a moniker that references the “J” in the call letters of KXJJ.
