What do Jeff Federman, Mark Hannon, Claudia Menegus and Chief Business Officer Chris Oliviero have in common? They are also Regional Presidents overseeing key Audacy markets. You can now add the woman overseeing the company’s Motor City properties to that group of junior executives.

Veteran media executive Debbie Kenyon has been named Regional President for its Central U.S. markets, a role that will see her continue to oversee Audacy’s Detroit stations while also assuming broader responsibilities for WSCR-AM & FM in Chicago, WNCX-FM in Cleveland, WCCO-AM in Minneapolis, WMYX-FM “99.1 The Mix” in Milwaukee, and WOLX-FM in Madison, Wisc.

“Debbie Kenyon has been a pillar of our business for over a quarter century, and her elevation to Regional President for our Central region is a testament to her ability to drive innovation and deliver consistent performance,” said Audacy President/CEO Kelli Turner. “Her appointment supports our commitment to empower our teams and build on our unmatched presence in local markets and communities while fully leveraging our scale and reach.”

Kenyon added, “Having spent my career deeply rooted in local radio, it’s an incredible honor to step into this role and support so many talented teams across the Central region. These markets are home to powerful brands with strong community connections, and I’m excited to build on that momentum, driving innovation, strengthening our local impact and delivering meaningful results for our audiences, partners and advertisers.”

Kenyon has risen through the ranks at Audacy, from when it was known as Entercom to roles at CBS Radio, which was acquired in a tax-free merger that ultimately triggered a bankruptcy that put Audacy in the control of Soros Fund Management.
