Kellum To Lead CMG/Atlanta Radio Sales

He most recently led sales for Morgan Murphy Media’s WKBT “News 8” in La Crosse, Wisc. Now, he’s taken on the role of General Sales Manager for Cox Media Group‘s radio stations in its home market of Atlanta.


Scott Kellum will now be responsible for the oversight of the station group’s multi-media sales efforts, recruitment of sales talent, and driving local spot and digital revenue for CMG’s four radio brands in the market: News/Talk WSB-AM & WSBB-FM, Adult Contemporary WSB-FM “B98.5,” Classic Rock WSRV “97.1 The River,” and Adult R&B WALR-FM “Kiss 104.1.”

Kellum, a graduate of the NAB’s Broadcast Leadership Training Program, began his career as a Marketing consultant and on-air forecaster with Barrington Broadcasting in Kirksville, Mo., before joining Sinclair Broadcast Group as a Sales Manager in Quincy, Ill.; he later served as Director of Sales for the company in the Springfield, Ill., market.
