WEST PALM BEACH — She’s been GM and Director of Sales for Gray Media-owned and The E.W. Scripps Co.-managed WFLX “FOX 29” in the Palm Beaches since 2022. Now, she’s returning to Kentucky to take a role as General Manager and Director of Sales for the company’s properties in the Lexington and Hazard regions.

Earning the role at Gray Media-owned WKYT-TV and WYMT-TV is Jaime Sayre Kawaja, CBS affiliates for Lexington and Hazard. She’ll start at the stations on April 1 and takes a role being relinquished by Jeff Anderson, who recently announced his decision to pursue new opportunities outside of local television.

Kawaja has spent her entire career at Gray Media, and brings 28 years of experience in sales and marketing to her new position. She began her career as an intern at WKYT and soon joined the station full-time as an account executive. Over the years, she held numerous positions at WKYT including regional, digital and local sales manager. She served as the station’s GSM between 2018 and 2022.

Kawaja also helped establish the Kentucky chapter of the American Women in Radio and Television.
