Based on National ratings for the week of 10/22/12, Katie earned the #1 position among all freshmen syndicated talk shows for the 7th week in a row in Households, Total Viewers and Women 25-54. During the week, Katie continued to lead by double to triple-digit percentages over Steve Harvey, Jeff Probst, Ricki Lake and Trisha. In fact, Katie is performing as TV’s strongest new syndicated talk show since 2009 among Households, Total Viewers and Women 25-54 – going back to the debut season of Dr. Oz.
Katie was up week to week with Total Viewers (+2%), Women 18-49 (+17%) and Women 18-34 (+25%), while retaining 100% of its week-ago delivery in Households and Women 25-54.
Katie generated its biggest overall audience in 6 weeks (since w/o 9/10/12), equaled a best-since-debut number in Households and scored its strongest week ever with Women 18-34.
Out of 17 total programs in the market this season, freshman Katie stands among the top-tier of syndicated talkers in Homes (#6), Total Viewers (#6) and Women 25-54 (#6).
