He’s become known across the radio industry as the President/CEO of broadcast technology company MaxxConnect. But, Josh Bohn also happens to be the Managing Member of Signal Mountain Broadcasting, an Alabama-based operation that’s agreed to sell a daytime-only AM and its low-power TV sibling.

The facilities are WYAM-AM 890 in Hartselle, Ala., which must sign off when the sun isn’t shining to protect WLS-AM in Chicago; and WYAS-LD in Priceville, Ala. Signal Mountain is selling both properties to Decatur Communication Properties LLC.

A $20,000 purchase price has been decided on, with a $1,000 deposit made to Bohn’s company.
