The government’s monthly report put job creation at zero in August. That made for a gloomy Friday on Wall street ahead of the three-day Labor Day weekend. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 253 points, or 2.2%, to 11,240. Broadcasting stocks joined in the retreat.
The RBR Radio Index was down 3.209, or 1.1%, to 282.953.
The TVBR Television Index was down 7.186, or 3.6%, to 192.365.
