Satellite and app-based audio content creator and distributor Sirius XM has unveiled its annual extensive holiday music channel lineup, with some 26 dedicated offerings available either in-dash or exclusive via its streaming services.
Among the new offerings is a channel hosted by the host of The Tonight Show on NBC.
New for 2024 is Jimmy Fallon’s Holiday Seasoning Radio.
Available on the SiriusXM app and on channel 17 from November 1 through December 27,
The holiday season officially kicks off on Friday, November 1 on SiriusXM with many of the channels live now and streaming on the SiriusXM app. It offers a mix of classic holiday songs personally picked by Fallon as well as funny stories, exclusive holiday mixes and holiday dedications to fans. This channel will also give listeners a look into the making of Fallon’s new Christmas album, Holiday Seasoning.
The channel will also air “Jimmy Fallon’s 12 Days of Christmas” — a special featuring 12curated genre-specific playlists ranging from yacht rock to country, as well as a Thanksgiving dinner special hosted by Fallon.
What else is on SiriusXM’s holiday channel line-up this year? Seven channels can be heard in-dash in addition to the Fallon-hosted offering.
- Acoustic Christmas: Available on the SiriusXM app November 1 through December 26 and on channel 3 from December 24 through December 25.
- Christmas Spirit: Family holiday favorites from Contemporary Christian Music artists heard on Sirius XM channel “The Message.” Available on the SiriusXM app November 1 through December 26 and on channel 65 on December 6 through December 26.
- Country Christmas: Multigenerational Country artists performing holiday favorites. Available on the SiriusXM app November 1 through December 26 and on channel 58 from December 4 through December 26.
- Hallmark Radio: Timeless Christmas music and carols on the SiriusXM app and on channel 105 from November 1 through December 26.
- Holiday Pops: Classical Christmas carols and holiday favorites performed by artists including the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Luciano Pavarotti, New York Philharmonic, King’s College Choir, Boston Pops and Thomas Hampson. Available on the SiriusXM app November 1 through December 26 and on channel 78 from December 24 through December 25.
- Holiday Traditions: Traditional holiday favorites from the 1940s through the 1960s by artists such as Bing Crosby, Andy Williams, Peggy Lee, Burl Ives and Nat “King” Cole. Available on the SiriusXM app year-round and on channel 71 from November 1 through December 26.
- Smokey’s Holiday Soul Town: Available on the SiriusXM app November 1 through December 26 and on channel 74 from December 4 through December 26.
No less than 16 other channels are being rolled out for Christmas, and are exclusive to the Sirius XM app.
- Cool Jazz Christmas: Contemporary and Smooth Jazz instrumentalists and vocalists once the staple of stations such as WQCD “CD101.9” in New York and WJZW in Washington, D.C. Available on the SiriusXM app November 1 through December 26.
- Holly: Modern holiday hits, available on the SiriusXM app November 1 through January 8 and on channel 79 from November 1 through December 26.
- Holiday Chill-Out: “Downtempo relaxing electronic holiday favorites.” Available on the SiriusXM app November 1 through December 26.
- Holiday Instrumentals: Think “Yule Log” soundtrack favorites. Available on the SiriusXM app November 1 through December 26.
- Holidays with Jessi & Friends: A Canadian offering, former MTV celebrity Jessi Cruickshank joins friends as they bring a festive mix of comedy, stories, and music. Join them as they share heartwarming holiday traditions, favorite recipes and holiday hits from Michael Bublé, Mariah Carey, Kelly Clarkson and more. Available on the SiriusXM app November 1 through December 26.
- Jingle Jamz: A mix of R&B and Hip-Hop artists taking a holiday vibe. Available on the SiriusXM app November 1 through December 26.
- Jolly Christmas: Upbeat, energetic sing-along holiday hits from The Chipmunks and Gene Autry to Mariah Carey and Jose Feliciano. Available on the SiriusXM app November 1 through December 26.
- Kids Christmas: Available on the SiriusXM app November 1 through December 26.
- Mannheim Steamroller Channel: Available on the SiriusXM app November 1 through December 26.
- Navidad: Spanish-language Christmas and holiday favorites. Available on the SiriusXM app November 1 through January 8.
- Noël Incontournable: Expressly for Francophone Canadian subscribers, this channel offers holiday favorites from French-language recording artists including Ginette Reno, Bruno Pelletier and Laurence Nerbonne. Available on the SiriusXM app November 1 through December 26.
- Real Jazz Holiday: Jazz masters like Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong and the Count Basie Orchestra to today’s stars like Wynton Marsalis, Samara Joy and Christian McBride exude the holiday spirit. Available on the SiriusXM app November 1 through December 26.
- Rockin’ Xmas: Available on the SiriusXM app November 1 through December 26.
- Sleep Christmas: Available on the SiriusXM app November 1 through December 26.
- Trans-Siberian Orchestra Radio: Available on the SiriusXM app November 1 through December 26.
- 70s/80s Holidays: Available on the SiriusXM app November 1 through December 26.
The Sirius XM app is also the exclusive home of Radio Hanukkah from December 24, 2024 through January 4, 2025, when the festival occurs this year.
Additionally, New Year’s Nation is coming to Channel 79 from December 27 through January 3 to recap the biggest contemporary pop hits of 2024.
