The man behind the low-power television station licensee known as Lowcountry 34 Media — a reference to South Carolina geography — has struck a deal to acquire a pair of LPTV properties serving the city that’s home to Utah State University.
Jeff Winemiller signed off on the asset purchase agreement on September 5, but a filing with the FCC made for its regulatory approval didn’t come until January 5, 2026, with Davina Sashkin of Wilkinson Barker Knauer serving as his legal counsel and Aaron Shainis of Shainis & Peltzman representing the seller.
That would be Soule Video Productions Inc., led by Larry Soule, which is parting ways with KJDN-LD and K11XG-D in Logan, Utah.
A $30,000 purchase price has been agreed upon by the parties, with a 10% deposit made by Winemiller.
