NEW YORK — It was first reported by Deadline, which sourced an internal company memo at CBS News and Stations outlining his departure. Now, the Paramount Global unit has confirmed that Neeraj Khelami will be relinquishing his role as President and co-Head of CBS News and Stations.

At the same time, CBS Media Ventures President Steven LoCascio is retiring.

Their respective duties will be absorbed by an individual whose resumé includes a six-year stint as VP/Creative Services and Programming for KABC-7 in Los Angeles, before rising to SVP/Digital at ABC Television Network Online and, at the end of 2017, to the post of ABC Television Network Online President.
