Seaboard Networks, a Maryland-based provider of syndicated programming and 24/7 radio formats, has announced a new strategic partnership with Local Storm Center to deliver localized weather services to its affiliate stations nationwide.

Through this partnership, Seaboard Networks will offer Local Storm Center’s market-specific weather forecasts as both a bundled service with its formats and as a standalone option for affiliates.

Local Storm Center will provide stations with three daily forecasts, customized to each market and delivered in a format compatible with station automation systems.

“We’re building Seaboard Networks as a full-service content platform for radio stations,” said Steven Clendenin, Founder of Seaboard Networks. “Weather is one of the few things every station needs every single day. By partnering with Local Storm Center, we’re making it easier for affiliates to access reliable, localized forecasts as part of a turnkey solution.”

The partnership is designed to simplify operations for stations by combining programming, imaging, and essential content services into a single, scalable offering, the companies say.

Johnny Caudle of Local Storm Center added, “This partnership allows us to expand our reach by working with a network that understands the needs of today’s radio operators. Seaboard’s growing affiliate base creates a natural opportunity to deliver high-quality weather services to more stations in a streamlined way.”

Seaboard Networks currently provides a range of 24/7 formats and syndicated programming, along with news services through its affiliated networks.

The Local Storm Center service is available immediately to Seaboard Networks affiliates.
