DigiCAP Unveils ‘AIOps’ For ATSC 3.0

A press conference has been scheduled for the afternoon of April 19 at the NAB Show in Las Vegas that will serve as the official unveiling of a new artificial intelligence-driven offering from DigiCAP that is designed to assist ATSC 3.0 — the new broadcast TV standard powering NEXTGEN TV.

Specifically, DigiCAP is introducing new automation capabilities to show what the next generation of broadcast operations will look like. AIOps for ATSC 3.0 is an AI-driven operations layer that represents a rethinking of how operators interact with broadcast systems.

AIOps for ATSC 3.0 is built on generative AI, LLM integration, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).  And, to help spread the word about the DigiCAP offering, ONE Media Technologies NextGen Deployment Manager James Willis will be in attendance, as will DigiCAP VP Joonyoung Park. A discussion will be moderated by veteran public relations executive Josh Gordon.

“As station groups scale across markets with cloud infrastructure, the traditional dashboard cannot keep up,” DigiCAP says. “Operators hunt for problems in a sea of data, and by the time an issue surfaces it may already be affecting viewers. The next generation of broadcast operations requires more than a cleaner UI. It requires intelligence.”
