It enjoys a 56kw Class C FM signal serving Whitefish, Mont., and many of its small surrounding communities. Soon, it will no longer be tied to a Forgotten Umbrella — the name of the licensee spinning this facility.
KBCK-FM 95.9 in Columbia Falls, Mont., is being sold to Bee Broadcasting Inc. by Forgotten Umbrella.
The deal comes with a $275,000 price tag, putting the noncommercial FM in hands of Cathleen Rose Bee.
She also happens to be the contact for the seller, where she’s the Director of the organization. The change in control puts the station directly under Ms. Bee’s ownership.
Bee is also the licensee of KHNK-AM & KJJR-AM in Whitefish, and KBBZ-FM & KDBR-FM in Kalispell, Mont. She also holds attributable interest in Rose Communications, licensee of KRVO-FM in Columbia Falls and KWOL-FM in Whitefish.
Mark Denbo of Smithwick & Belendiuk served as the legal counsel for the station.
