Hopes for good jobs news – 7/6/11
Government stats on employment are due out later in the week and traders were betting Wednesday that the news will be good. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 56 points, or 0.5%, to 12,626. Broadcasting stocks were mixed.
The RBR Radio Index was up 0.351, or 0.1%, to 360.257.
The TVBR Television Index was down 3.022, or 1.1%, to 268.840.
