O’FALLON, MO. — With college football fans already pumped about the 2024 season, a Gray Media station serving the St. Louis market is embarking on something “new and very exciting” — a free and independent sports and entertainment network.

Introducing Matrix Midwest, which the company formerly known as Gray Television introduced to viewers of KMOV-4 late last week.

Those in St. Louis can view the new offering on KDTL-LD 32.1, a low-power television station that’s a sibling to KMOV; KDTL can be found on channel 186 on Charter Communications’ Spectrum MVPD.

Key programming in the first week of the network includes the University of Missouri Tigers football team, with a Thursday match-up versus Murray State University airing on KDTL.

A pre- and post-game show tied to the team will air exclusively on Matrix Midwest.

Kansas City Chiefs pre-season coverage is also on Matrix Midwest.
