Gloomy Monday on Wall Street – 12/19/11


Worries about the global economy sent bank stocks falling on Monday – and the rest of the market followed. By the way, Bank of America is now a penny stock, closing below the $5 threshold. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 100 points, or 0.8%, to 11,766. Nearly all broadcasting stocks fell on Monday.

The RBR Radio Index was down 4.841, or 1.7%, to 287.456.

The TVBR Television Index was down 8.215, or 3.5%, to 225.200.
