Glenn Beck heading to Texas, building studio

Glenn Beck is headed to Dallas the Dallas area and he’s bringing both his family and a new studio with him. Beck left the Fox News Channel at the end of June and has sold his Connecticut home. His next venture is a new online network, Glenn Beck TV (GBTV), features a two-hour program that’s expected to be a lot like Beck’s one-hour show on FNC. As part of the new project, Beck is building a new radio and television studio in Dallas. Beck’s company, Mercury Radio Arts, will be maintaining a New York City office.


GBTV has a tiered paywall: Subscribers can pay $4.95 a month for access to Beck’s two-hour daily show only, or $9.95 a month for GBTV Plus, providing access to the full slate of programming.

All 80,000 members of Insider Extreme, Beck’s premium subscription site, are being migrated over to GBTV. Clear Channel will promote GBTV on over 100 of its talk stations, which reach 13 million listeners each month.
