Gerrard Takes Nebraska, Iowa Leadership for iHeart

OMAHA — The nation’s largest owner of radio stations has named an Area President for its “Nebraska-Iowa Area,” putting her in charge of iHeartMedia properties in Omaha, Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, Davenport, the Premium Choice hub of Ogallala, and Sioux City.


Rhonda Gerrard will continue to report to Shosh Abromovich, Division President for iHeartMedia, who said Gerrard’s “insightful knowledge of the industry, combined with her sharp skillsets, will undoubtedly drive our team’s growth and development throughout the Nebraska-Iowa Area and throughout iHeartMedia.”

Abromovich, who rises from SVP/Sales for the Nebraska-Iowa Area, also cited Gerrard’s “fresh perspective and unwavering dedication to excellence,” which will make her “an invaluable asset to our community, our partners, and our listeners.”

Gerrard has spent 13 years with iHeartMedia and started her career in radio in 1994, at Lincoln, Neb.-based KFOR and KFRX Radio.

“It is an honor and privilege to take the reins of the Nebraska-Iowa area and lead this
incredibly talented group in employing iHeartMedia’s cutting edge assets to drive listener
engagement, community outreach and client outcomes,” Gerrard said.
