From Sprint to Streaming For New Univision Division CMO

He was widely known in the advertising industry for his five years as Chief Marketing Officer of Sprint, now a part of T-Mobile. From today, he’ll be getting new recognition as the first CMO of Streaming at Univision Communications.


Effective immediately, Roger Solé will lead the marketing team “in the development, growth, and creative approach for the future global streaming platform, including performance marketing, partner marketing integration, advertising, and all other streaming marketing efforts across all digital platforms.”

Solé’s appointment is one of four for Univision’s streaming team, “in preparation for the launch of its two-tiered global platform.”

Serving as Senior Vice President of Development of Streaming is Vincenzo Gratteri. Gratteri has overseen hundreds of productions and started his career in Italy with Lux Vide, where he produced titles such as Coco Chanel, in partnership with Rai Fiction and France 2. His experience includes work with W Studios, where he produced such television series as El Dragón, a co-production between Televisa and Netflix. He was most recently at Onza Americas, a production company based in Miami which he founded in partnership with the Spanish producers of El Ministerio del Tiempo, now in its fourth season on TVE and offered in the international marketplace on the Netflix platform.

Taking the post of Univision Senior Vice President of Streaming Partnerships is Adam Waltuch. He comes to Univision from Netflix, and prior to that was at Google, where he spent time in Buenos Aires, Santiago, and Mountain View, leading teams behind products including Google Cloud and AdWords.

Lastly, Rita Chertorivski is now Senior Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs. Before joining Univision, she served as Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs for NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises, where she led a multi-regional team in charge of all scripted productions in the U.S., Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, and Spain.
