Atlanta Braves fans will be able to watch a pair of the Major League Baseball team’s games in Spanish, thanks to an agreement between the club and Gray Media‘s Telemundo affiliate group, one of the NBCUniversal network’s largest.
Some 18 Telemundo stations owned and operated by Atlanta-headquartered Gray will air the Braves’ match-up against the Los Angeles Dodgers on August 25, starting at 7:15pm Eastern.
Then, on September 8, the Braves’ game against the Tampa Bay Rays will be broadcast on the Telemundo affiliates, with a 7:15pm Eastern start time.
A locally produced pre-game show featuring analysis, statistics, and roster highlights will appear in the 15-minute window prior to each game’s first pitch, hosted by play-by-play man Alejandro Villegas and commentator Juan Jordan.
The games will air on Gray’s Telemundo stations found across Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and South Carolina:
