The Atlanta-based company offering the 365BLK, Outlaw and Defy digital multicast broadcast TV networks to partners across the U.S. has added a fourth diginet to its lineup — and it is one geared toward men who like “high-adrenaline, crime-focused programming.”

Introducing Busted, which debuts March 1. It’s the creation of Jonathan Katz, who founded the former Katz Broadcasting some 15 years ago and sold it to Scripps Networks in December 2020. Today, Katz is at the helm of Free TV Networks.

And, he’s excited about the forthcoming launch of the “Busted” channel, with programming including the second-run shows COPS Reloaded, Jail, Bounty Tank, Court Cam, Neighborhood Wars, Customer Wars, and World’s Wildest Police Videos.

“With riveting unscripted series, Busted is the only dedicated broadcast channel that takes audiences on vicarious real-life ride-alongs to witness justice in action,” Katz said. “While the migration from cable forces many legacy media businesses to contract, Free TV Networks continues to grow as more and more value-conscious consumers combine antenna usage with streaming.”

BUSTED is anticipated to launch with more than 90% coverage of U.S. households via distribution on DT multicast signals aligned with stations owned by Scripps, Gray Media, Nexstar Media Group, and HC2 Broadcasting.

Free TV Network launched 366BLK and Outlaw on January 1, 2024, thanks to a partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery and Lionsgate and a distribution agreement with Gray Media. Defy arrived on July 1.
