FOX’s BONES and FRINGE combo bounced back last night, delivering a 2.5/7 for the night – up+39% in Adults 18-49 and up +77% in Total Viewers versus its Thursday average last Fall (excluding sports).
BONES
At 8p, BONES posted a 2.9/8 among Adults 18-49 and is up compared to last week by +12% among Adults 18-49, +10% among Adults 18-34 and +13% in Total Viewers.
This is the first time this season that BONES has outperformed ABC’s FlashForward in head to head competition, showing an advantage of +12% among Adults 18-49 (2.9/8 vs. 2.6/7).
Compared to FOX’s Fall’08 time period performance with regular programming, BONES is up +65% among Adults 18-49 (2.8/8 vs. 1.7/5), +35% among Adults 18-34 (2.3/7 vs. 1.7/5) and +140% among Total Viewers (9.6 vs. 4.0 Mil).
FRINGE
At 9p, FRINGE posted 2.2/5 among Adults 18-49 and showed substantial gains versus last week, increasing +29% among Adults 18-49, +21% among Adults 18-34 and +20% in Total Viewers.
Competition
ABC’s Flash Forward (2.6/7) matched its lowest original rating to date, down -19% from its prior season average (3.2/9). Grey’s Anatomy (5.4/13) and Private Practice (3.9/11) were both up (+6% and +15%, respectively) but in line with their season averages.
On CBS, Survivor: Samoa (4.0/11) and CSI (4.0/10) were above their recent performances and the Mentalist (3.5/10) was on par.
NBC’s Community (2.1/6), Parks & Recreation (2.1/6), The Office (4.0/10), and 30 Rock (2.9/7) were all down week over week (-9%, -5%, -2% and -3%, respectively). At 10p The Jay Leno Show (1.6/4) was in line with its prior Thursday season averages.
