It’s official: A new digital streaming destination for all-things FOX is coming this fall. And, it will bear the name “FOX ONE.”
Marketing for FOX ONE dropped on Monday as Upfront Week began in New York, promising “Everything FOX In One Place” and a place where one can stream “all of your favorites like never before.”
With news, sports and entertainment, FOX is promising “a single destination to stream everything Fox, made for how you watch.”
There’s no firm launch date as of yet for the direct-to-consumer streaming platform, which will serve as a single hub for live and on-demand access to FOX Sports, FS1, FS2, BTN and FOX Deportes; and for FOX News, FOX Business, FOX Weather, FOX Local Stations (led by Jack Abernethy) and the FOX network, with the option to add FOX Nation to a bundle package.
However, FOX Sports hints that the platform will be up and running by the end of August.
“We know that FOX has the most loyal and engaged audiences in the industry, and FOX One is designed to reach outside of the pay-tv bundle and deliver all the best FOX branded content directly to viewers wherever they are,” said Pete Distad, CEO of FOX One. “We have built this platform from the ground up to allow consumers to enjoy and engage with our programming in new and exciting ways, leveraging cutting edge technology to enhance the user experience across the platform.”
