The next round of FM CPs up for bidding is now about three months away, and the FCC has released a procedural for prospective bidders.
The auction is on the calendar for 7/23/15.
118 of the allotments up for bidding are new, and 18 were either offered before and unclaimed, or won at auction and subsequently defaulted upon.
The FCC noted channels proposed for bidding by individuals, but which it cannot do anything about due to the fact that they are not included on the FM table of allotments.
There will be a freeze on minor CP filings for FM stations while a window for Auction 98 Form 175 applications is open. The dates are 5/18/15 through 5/28/15.
