Fischer, Luján Take Top Roles On Senate Media Subcommittee

The senior U.S. Senator from Nebraska who has served the state in the upper body of Congress since 2013 committed “to advance sensible policies that will promote strong Nebraska families and communities” has been named Chairman of the important Senate Subcommittee on Telecommunications and Media.


Sen. Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) takes the role and will serve alongside the following remembers of the majority party:

  • Sen. Jerry Moran (R-Kan.)
  • Sen. Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska)

  • Sen. Ted Budd (R-N.C.)
  • Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-Mo.)
  • Sen. John Curtis (R-Utah)
  • Sen. Tim Sheehy (R-Mo.)
  • Sen. Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio)
  • Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.)
  • Sen. Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo. )

With Fischer serving as Chair, representing the Democratic Party as Ranking Member of the subcommittee is Sen. Ben Ray Luján of New Mexico.
