WASHINGTON, D.C. — The junior Republican on the Federal Communications Commission has been selected to serve as the Keynote Speaker at an annual gathering of former FCC leaders hosted by the Multicultural Media, Telecom and Internet Council (MMTC).
FCC Commissioner Olivia Trusty is confirmed for the symposium, which will also feature a discussion exploring the latest developments and emerging issues in technology and communications policy.
The 2026 Former FCC Leadership Symposium is scheduled for July 9 from 10am-11:30am at the D.C. offices of law firm Hogan Lovells.

As shown above, panelists include former FCC Chairs Mignon Clyburn and Reed Hundt and former Commissioners Mike O’Rielly and Robert McDowell. Moderators are ex-Commissioners Deborah Taylor Tate and Jonathan Adelson.
