FCC to Vote on Cable Deregulation as Trusty Makes Majority

Two weeks ago, the Federal Communications Commission was still without a quorum. Now, with the confirmation of Commissioner Olivia Trusty fast-tracked by Senate Republicans, the agency is set to conduct its first Open Meeting of 2025 with a Republican majority, with cable deregulation taking top billing.
