Jessica Rosenworcel will be spending a part of Friday, September 27, with a virtual trip to the San Francisco Bay Area, where she will address the seventh annual Berkeley Law AI Institute and, among other things, share how the Commission is considering new transparency standards that would require disclosure when Artificial Intelligence technology is used in political advertising on radio and television.

The event, which began in 2018, brings together thought leaders, innovators, and policymakers from around the world. This year, experts and innovators will dive into the latest developments in AI technology, governance, legal practice innovations, risk mitigation, and regulatory frameworks.

Rosenworcel will deliver her address at 9am Pacific; it will be delivered via a livestream from Washington to attendees in Berkeley, Calif.

The 2024 Berkeley Law AI Institute features contributions by Ken Goldberg, AI and robotics expert and UC Berkeley Professor; and Dr. Juan M. Lavista Ferres, Chief Data Scientist of the AI for Good Lab at Microsoft.

The Berkeley Law AI Institute is for all legal professionals and business leaders. The cost is $895 per individual.
