She most recently served as Global Executive Director of the International Advertising Association (IAA), a network of marketing and advertising professionals representing all sectors of the industry, as well as universities and governments. As 2026 began, she took on a new role as an Executive VP at the Association of National Advertisers.

It is now known that Dagmara Szulce will be taking on the duties of a longtime Group Exec. VP at the ANA who is ready to spend more time with his wife and “get that work/life balance back” — but is not retiring.

As first confirmed by MediaPost, Bill Duggan will be exiting his role at the ANA in June 2026.

This puts Szulce, who rose in the advertising world in 1999 as a Senior Partner and Account Director for Pfizer while working at J. Walter Thompson, in a key position at the nation’s foremost advocacy group for the advertising industry.

Szulce was with JWT until March 2008, and would later hold roles at McCann Erickson and, after that, at Ogilvy. She joined IAA in September 2017.

Duggan joined the ANA in May 2000 after serving for 16 1/2 years as a VP and Group Management Supervisor at Grey Advertising.
