She enjoyed a “deep and meaningful friendship” with the late Laurie Kahn, who owned and operated Media Staffing Network (MSN). Now, Kahn’s close bond has led her friend to acquire MSN, beginning a new chapter for the company.

MSN’s ownership has passed on to Lisa Fields; she was hand-picked by Kahn to take over, the company shares.

Fields is perhaps best-known in the radio industry for her 15 years at iHeartMedia predecessor Clear Channel Radio, where she was a Greensboro, N.C.-based General Sales Manager, Director of New Business, Regional Marketing Director, and Marketing Director. In February 2009, she departed and took the role of VP/GM at Broadcast1Source, a compliance software offering specializing in the radio and television industries. “Notably, she negotiated and implemented an innovative API-based compliance solution that seamlessly integrates with the FCC’s reporting database,” MSN says.

“I am deeply honored and humbled to follow in Laurie’s footsteps,” Fields says. “She built an incredible business that has touched countless lives in the media industry. I am committed to preserving and expanding upon her legacy by providing top-notch staffing solutions and unparalleled service to our clients and candidates.”

Fields’ acquisition of MSN comes as VP/General Manager Patty Kincaid is retiring.
