WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Association of Broadcasters Leadership Foundation (NABLF) is now accepting entries for the 2025 Celebration of Service to America Awards. The awards honor the critical role local TV and radio stations play in communities across the country.

Stations and broadcast groups are encouraged to submit their most impactful community service campaigns that took place in 2024.

The entry window will close on Monday, March 10, at 11:59pm Pacific.

There are two additional categories this year, with one radio and one TV station to be awarded in each:

  • First Informers Award: Recognizing a station’s exemplary role as the public’s first source of critical information during emergencies, crises or natural disasters.
  • Spanish Language Broadcaster Award: Celebrating a station’s excellence in providing news, sports and entertainment programming tailored to bilingual or Spanish-speaking audiences.

“A critical part of the NAB Leadership Foundation’s mission is to elevate the role of local broadcasters in their communities and showcase how much they give back,” said NAB Leadership Foundation President Michelle Duke. “Every day, local radio and television stations are engaging with their audiences through investigative journalism, emergency messaging and up-to-the-minute reporting. We’re so proud to recognize their incredibly meaningful work.”

Winners will be notified in early April, with awards to be presented at the Celebration of Service to America Awards Gala in Washington, D.C., on June 10.
