Educational Media Foundation is back to the side of the negotiating table it has been more familiar with over the past several years – the station buyer’s side. This is after it sold a couple back into the commercial world. This time, is has a deal for a DIY project in Fairbanks AK.

The station is KZVV-FM CP. It will be a Class C2 on 88.3 MHz with 3.2 kW @ 1,539’ when the final twist of a screw-driver is completed.

The seller is One Ministries Inc., headed by Keith Leitch. The price is $100K. According to the contract, One Ministries owes an unspecified amount of money to EMF, and that will figure into the compensation package. EMF will forgive the debt in total and pay the balance of the $100K in cash.

EMF is a non-profit Christian radio group that operates the Contemporary Christian formatted K-LOVE Network. It’s headed by Mike Novak.
