It’s gained a reputation for designing and manufacturing such broadcast products as transmitters for radio and television stations as well as media software systems.

Now Elenos Group has attracted attention for its naming of a new President and Chief Operating Officer, responsible for operations in the Americas.

Earning the role is Rich Redmond, and he’ll be based in the U.S. as Elenos-owned Broadcast Electronics.

Redmond is well-known for his senior leadership roles at GatesAir and, before that, Harris Broadcast. He also founded Strativa Advisors, a technology consultancy providing leadership for innovative radio-targeted advertising and cloud-based transmission site monitoring solutions.

“We are delighted to have an accomplished industry veteran with Rich Redmond’s expertise join Elenos Group” said Leonardo Busi, Founder and CEO of Elenos Group, “This appointment exemplifies Elenos Group’s commitment to accelerate growth by investing in people, innovation and technology, that enable our customers to deliver their message to consumers and our continued leadership in broadcasting technology.”

Redmond added, “It is refreshing to be working with a visionary like Leonardo who is as excited about technological innovation as he is about growing the company, a rare combination today. Elenos Group is full of talented people all working in unison to deliver innovative new products and solutions to solve customer needs, and poised for growth.”

As part of this transition, Perry Priestley will now focus on his sales-related responsibilities as Chief Sales Officer (CSO), “driving accelerated growth in the radio and TV marketplace for the Elenos Group.”
