Live media production workflow specialist Lawo, a familiar brand to NAB Show attendees in the video media space, has promoted from within to select its new Chief Executive Officer.
Taking the post is Deputy CEO Jamie Dunn.
As CEO, he will play a key role in shaping the continued development of the Lawo Group. His long tenure with the company, which dates to 2011, was seen as vital to forming a strong foundation for future growth.
“Lawo’s strength has always been rooted in its people, its partnerships, its values and its commitment to innovation,” he said. “I am honored to lead the next chapter of success of this remarkable company. These are exciting times – and there are huge opportunities ahead for our company.”
As part of the transition, Philipp Lawo has stepped down from the ‘Vorstand’ (Board of Directors, in German) of Lawo AG and joins the company’s Supervisory Board. “This move reflects Lawo’s commitment to strengthening corporate compliance by more clearly separating management and control functions across its governing bodies,” the company said.
Michael Sonnabend, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, commented, “These changes reaffirm our confidence in Lawo’s proven management structure and the strong collaboration within the Management Team. This transition ensures the company’s continued stability as we look to the future. This Management Team has consistently demonstrated its ability to define, execute and deliver on the company’s long-term strategy.”
Sonnabend added that Lawo’s goal “is to ensure that Lawo continues to build on its strong foundations while pursuing a sustainable and robust growth model. The Supervisory Board has full trust in Jamie Dunn and the entire Management Team. With their collective expertise and dedication, Lawo is ideally positioned for the next chapter of its journey.”
