Wall Street continues to worry about the Euro zone, but a drop in new jobless claims and a strong earnings report from FedEx sent stock prices higher on Thursday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 45 points, or 0.4%, to 11,869. Broadcasting stocks were again mixed.
The RBR Radio Index was down 1.374, or 0.5%, to 295.989.
The TVBR Television Index was up 0.363, or 0.2%, to 232.980.
