The New York Post says that ABC Television Network parent Walt Disney Company is taking a look at the sale of its armada of eight mostly major-market O&Os. This is said to have been on the table three years ago, and today’s higher station valuations put it back on the table.
According to the article, the network is not for sale, but the company believes its station group is somewhat of an outlier on its list of assets.
