Stock prices moved up in early trading Wednesday on some good news, such as results from retailer Target, but reversed direction after a disappointing quarterly report from Dell. But in the end the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite was down, while other indices moved back into positive territory by the closing bell. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up a mere four points at 11,410. Broadcasting stocks managed to be among the winners.
The RBR Radio Index was up 7.422, or 2.5%, to 302.084.
The TVBR Television Index was up 0.586, or 0.3%, to 211.668.
