He’s been with Audacy Inc. for 18 months and led the execution of such initiatives as Hip Hop Made, I’m Listening, 1Thing and Launch. He also played a key part of the rollout of the company’s partnerships with ReelWorld, United Stations and Live Nation.

Now, this Audacy staffer has been given the role of Director/Programming.

Earning the position is Corey Crockett, who reports to Sr. VP of Programming Dave Richards.

Crockett will play “a critical role in the central programming departments communication, collaboration and coordination to the extent that we wouldn’t do it justice by listing it here,” Richards said in a company memo distributed within Audacy.

Richards continued, “It’s rare when someone joins a team and immediately establishes creativity, structure and leadership in such a short time. And on top of that he does it all with a smile and a thank you.”

Crockett has been an air personality for the LGBT-targeted “Channel Q” offering from Audacy, and prior to joining the company in November 2019 held on-air and programming assistant roles for iHeartMedia in such markets as Norfolk and Rochester, N.Y.
