One of the world’s most revered 26.2-mile running challenges is now complete, as thousands took to the streets of the Five Boroughs of New York on November 2 to earn a medal as a finisher of the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon. Providing the dynamic video footage of the event saw CP Communications once again spread its connectivity across the course.
CP delivered broadcast and communications services for the event, once again providing end-to-end connectivity and production support across all five boroughs.
This included CBRS connectivity for Green-GO comms and video at the start and finish lines, as well as REMI support with RVON, Unity Connect, low-latency video, and full REMI kits at remote sites (bonded cameras, full camera control, mics, IFBs, drone paths), linking all remote sites.

CP also provided on-course coverage with motos and dual-stream Smartcars featuring talent POVs, talkback audio, Sony cameras with full paint control, and effect mics. Aerial and streaming production via a Starlink-equipped camera helicopter, drones, and vMix for the TCS/TATA mobile app and NYRR social platforms were also used across November 2.
Lastly, CP used a finish line flypack with Haivision Makito connected to HD21, managing all video feeds, Unity Intercom Connect audio, trunked comms, and citywide comms supporting motos, lead vehicles, operations, and production.
“It was an exhilarating race and we enjoyed capturing every moment for viewer experience,” CP says.
