The latest Thomson Reuters/University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment index came in higher than expectations and gave stocks a little boost on Friday, ahead of the three-day weekend. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 39 points, or 0.3%, at 12,442. Broadcasting stocks also had a good day.
The RBR Radio Index was up 0.995, or 0.3%, to 367.685.
The TVBR Television Index was up 2.918, or 1.1%, to 264.273.
