Educational Media Foundation is officially in control at KXPC-FM, following its agreement to acquire the station from Christopher F. Devine’s Portland Broadcasting. According to Media Services Group broker Jody McCoy, the price is $1.25M. The station is a Class C licensed to Lebanon OR, a community about 60 miles south of Portland.
The same buyer also closed on its acquisition of KABW-FM Westport WA from the same seller, this time using licensee name College Creek Media, and according to the same broker, the price was $100K. Westport is in an unrated portion of the state along the Pacific coast.
