According to an asset purchase agreement submitted for regulatory approval with the FCC, Civic Media is agreeing to acquire WHSM-FM 101.1 in Hayward and W245CT at 96.9 MHz from Zoe Communications.
For Zoe, led by Mike Oberg, the licensee will pocket $360,000 from the sale of the FM facilities. A $90,000 escrow deposit is being held by Vinopal Title.
Signing off for Civic Media is Sage Weil, who has built a network of liberal-leaning Talk stations across the state.
