It has operated six radio stations in Elko, Nev., and four audio brands serving Clovis, N. Mex., in addition to the Ruby Want Ads and Your News NM websites. There’s also the “Radio Santa” streaming audio offering.
All are being sold off, as the company behind these offerings has entered Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection, FCC documents confirm.
With Aaron Shanis of Shanis & Peltzman serving as legal counsel to the Commission, Global One Media has placed all of its broadcast assets in the hands of trustee Brian D. Shapiro, who is based in Las Vegas.
This move effectively concludes ownership of the properties by Rich Hudson, as a Nevada federal bankruptcy court has ordered his company to liquidate its assets in order to settle creditor needs.
The main creditor is Newtek Small Business Finance LLC.
The FCC filing to transfer the stations to the Chapter 7 Trustee follows the September 22, 2025 conversion of Global One Media’s February 2, 2024, Chapter 11 filing.
The stations involved in the bankruptcy are:

KRMQ-FM, KSEL-AM & FM, and KSMX-FM were acquired by Global One Media from Rooney Moon Broadcasting for $1.1 million in a deal announced in July 2022 that was brokered by Hadden & Associates. That came after a deal struck in February 2022 with Ken Sutherland‘s Ruby Radio Corporation that gave Global One ownership of KHIX-FM, KBGZ-FM, and KUOL-FM — plus the three FM translators — for $1 million.
Hudson entered radio station ownership after serving since February 2017 as the President of Studio 1 Production, based in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles. From November 2017-May 2021, he was a Sound Design/Audio Producer/Production Director for Audacy Corp.’s Los Angeles stations.
For 19 years prior, under CBS Radio ownership, he was a production director and KCBS-FM “Arrow 93.1” air talent. This built on his on-air experience at radio stations in San Diego and Denver, notably “KS104” and KKHK “The Hawk” in the mid-1990s. He began his career as a programming intern in January 1986 at KOAQ “Q103” in Denver for Belo Broadcasting.
