A Salt Lake City-based broadcast automation and video server company is welcoming a well-known broadcast TV industry sales veteran to its team.
He’s the owner and operator of CER-TEC Inc., and will handle U.S. sales for NVerzion from New York.
At NVerzion, John Cerquone will help promote the company’s technology solutions for online video and new digital media products to television, radio and cable networks/stations, as well as production facilities, corporations, and government entities throughout the New York/Northeast and Mid-Atlantic areas.
He reports to NVerzion Director of sales Reed Haslam.
What’s the future of CER-TEC? It will continue, and now represent NVerzion.
“John is coming aboard at just the right time,” Haslam says. “We are expecting CER-TEC to fill the void in the Northeast with their marketing and sales experience. Our product line-up is expanding and customer demand is increasing”.
Cerquone is also serving in his third term as Secretary/Treasurer of the New York section of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers.
Cerquone’s resume includes stints as Regional Sales Manager for Harris Corp. from February 2011-March 2013; and as an Eastern U.S. Distribution Account Manager for Tektronix from July 2007-January 2011. He also enjoyed two stints at SONY Electronics, separated by a stint from 2003-2004 as a Broadcast Account Manager at Avid Technology.
