According to three unnamed sources who spoke with Reuters on Wednesday,  Google has reached an agreement with CBS Corp. to carry the CBS Television Network on its in-the-works internet TV service.

Furthermore, the trio of anonymous sources tell the news service that Google is in advanced talks with 21st Century Fox and Viacom to add their respective channels to the web TV service.

The soon-to-arrive service will be an extension of Google’s YouTube platform. It is expected to arrive in Q1 2017 and will encompass all of CBS’s programming — including National Football League telecasts, Reuters’ sources say.

The Google TV plan is expected to cost near $35 a month; research reported by RBR + TVBR shows this is the maximum price most Americans would pay for a service of this type.

Meanwhile, The Wall Street Journal says Google is in “advanced talks” with The Walt Disney Co. regarding ABC and its sibling networks.
