As 2025 began, an AM and FM pair serving a small city in the Southern Colorado Rockies concluded their broadcast service. Now, one of the station's former leaders has stepped up to bring that station back to life.

It's a 250-watt daytime-only AM radio station that must silence its broadcasts after dark to protect WSB-AM in Atlanta that has an all-important FM translator licensed to bring 24/7 service to the city of Gretna, La. At present, both facilities are dark. They are poised for a rebirth under a forthcoming new owner.

In Southeast Mississippi, an AM/FM combo serves the small city of Lucedale. Soon, with the FCC's regulatory blessing, these stations will be owned by someone else.

A presently silent 3kw FM radio station with a transmitter due east of Maysville, Ky., along the Ohio River, is being sold. Pending the FCC approval, the new owner will be enjoying a "Total" gain.

In a matter of weeks, that programming will be replaced by Worship Music, if an Asset Purchase Agreement just filed with the FCC gets an OK.

Sage Weil has gained a reputation across Wisconsin for his desire to establish a statewide hub of progressive-leaning spoken word content for radio listeners. Now, he's ready to ship in his programming and sales team to Ripon.

In September 1998, this Class B AM in the High Desert of Southern California was acquired by Randy Michaels' Jacor Broadcasting, and later ended up in the hands of iHeartMedia predecessor Clear Channel Communications. Since the end of 2011, it has been owned by Saul Rosenzweig. That's about to change.

A Class C 1kw AM radio station licensed to East Liverpool, Ohio with a pair of FM translators is poised to become the property of a Bellaire, Ohio, media company led by Cody Barack. That's according to an asset purchase agreement submitted with the FCC for its regulatory approval by the buyer's legal counsel, Allan G. Moskowitz.

A radio/digital/social/video media company focused on La Grande and Burns, Ore., and the Columbia Basin has agreed to grab an FM translator serving the community of Union, Ore. The seller is an educational institution.
