The SVP of Distribution and Government Affairs for Hearst Television has been named to the NAB Television Board of Directors. Before joining Hearst, this industry leader was VP/Strategic Transactions for CBS Corporation and served previously as Senior Counsel/Programming at Cablevision.

She's a 28-year Hearst Television veteran who since October 2017 has served as General Sales Manager for the company's NBC affiliate serving Pennsylvania communities from Lancaster through Harrisburg and down to York. Now, this longtime local TV sales pro is he station's President/GM.

The independent TV measurement and analytics firm founded by CEO Kristin Dolan has turned to a former M&A banker at Goldman Sachs in selecting its new President. Most recently, he held principal roles at several fast-growing firms — including 605-owned ad tech, measurement and services firm Adscribe.

The co-CEO and Chairman of the Board of one of the fastest-growing broadcast television station ownership groups in the U.S. has been selected as the recipient of the 2022 Golden Mike Award. This year’s event marks the return of the Broadcasters Foundation of America’s biggest fundraiser, which did not take place in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hearst Television's Senior Director of Finance, based at the company's New York City headquarters, has been promoted to Vice President. Earning the new role: a 31-year finance veteran at Hearst Television.

Now, this longtime ad sales pro has been tapped as SVP of Sales for both Milwaukee and Madison by the nation's No. 1 licensee of radio stations.

Jim Bohannon, who hosts a nationally syndicated eponymous talk show distributed to radio stations by Cumulus Media-owned Westwood One, has been selected as the NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame 2022 radio inductee.

Recently, Good Karma Brands promoted Sam Pines to a corporate-level role of SVP. This left the top leadership spot open in Cleveland, where it operates the market's ESPN Radio affiliate. Pines' successor in the market has now been named.

He's been the General Sales Manager of Hearst Television's ABC affiliate in Jackson, Miss., since 2017. Now, he is the station's President/GM. And, his successor as GSM has been named.

Taking the spot within the Scripps Networks arm is an individual who has held various roles at the network since it was launched in 2011 as the first offering from Katz Networks.

Media and marketing leaders from across Central California are paying tribute to Mary Lou Gunn, who died on November 24 after a brief illness. Gunn is widely known and respected for her roles at radio stations in Bakersfield and in Fresno, where she ran Lotus Communications' radio properties.
