TORONTO — A well-known independent radio broadcaster who started the world’s first LGBTQ radio station and is regarded as the first broadcaster in Canada to elevate female employees to ownership through new radio license acquisitions has passed.
Bill Evanov was 77, and died on February 28 in Ontario.
